Oakland Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Collision near 14th Street
Oakland, CA (June 18, 2022) On Thursday evening, a 42-year-old Oakland man was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Jefferson Street.
According to Oakland police, the fatal bicycle accident happened around 8:30 p.m. near 14th Street.
Reports say that a vehicle on Jefferson Street struck the bicyclist in a designated bike lane.
Paramedics transported the victim to a hospital, unfortunately, where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities are still investigating the crash and have not released details regarding the incident at this time.
