Pedestrian Hospitalized in Hit-and-Run Crash on Rosecrans Street

 
Midway District, CA (September 24, 2020) – On Wednesday, a 41-year-old man was injured in a hit-and-run crash on Rosecrans Street.
 
San Diego police officer Robert Heims said the crash happened just before 9:30 p.m. north of Lytton Street.
 
The victim was crossing Rosecrans Street westbound outside of a marked crosswalk when a vehicle struck him, Heims said.
 
The driver immediately fled the scene in an unknown direction in the suspect vehicle, noted only as a white sedan. Also, there was no available description of the driver.
 
Meanwhile, the rescuers took the victim to a hospital for treatment of non-fatal head injuries.
