OXNARD, CA (November 16, 2020) – Sunday morning, a 4-year-old girl suffered injuries in a hit-and-run accident on Colonia Road and Bonita Street.
 
The Oxnard hit and run occurred at about 9:00 a.m. on Colonia Road and Bonita Street.
 
According to the Oxnard Police Department, the 4-year-old girl walked in the intersection with her mom and two siblings, when she was struck by the driver.
 
Furthermore, the vehicle dragged the victim for around 50 feet as it continued driving west on Colonia Road.
 
As a result, the 4-year-old victim sustained serious injuries. Thus, responders took her to Ventura County Medical Center.
 
Meanwhile, police say the hit-and-run car is a black Ford Expedition. Additionally, the authorities described the suspect driver as a Hispanic male in his 30s. He has a shaved head and apparently wore dark clothing.
