4-Year-Old Child Injured in Broadside Crash on Channel Islands Boulevard [Oxnard, CA]

Oxnard, CA (October 01, 2021) – On Wednesday, a 4-year-old child and others were injured in broadside crash on Channel Islands Boulevard.

The accident happened at 6:55 p.m. at the intersection of Manzanita Drive, east of Ventura Road.

Investigating officers said a male driver with a 4-year-old was southbound on Manzanita Drive turned left onto Channel Islands Boulevard.

The authorities said the driver was at fault for causing a broadside crash with another vehicle that was traveling on Channel Islands Boulevard.

The driver suffered critical injuries. Although neither his injuries nor the child’s are life threatening, an officer said.
