1 Hospitalized in Modesto Pedestrian Accident on Donal Street near Hancock Street
MODESTO, CA (August 8, 2022) – Saturday night, a 4-year-old boy sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Donal Street near Hancock Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 9:40 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on Donald Street, just east of Hancock Street.
Reports revealed that a white Dodge Nitro SUV traveled at a high rate of speed. Then, it struck a 4-year-old boy standing next to his father while waiting to cross the road in a marked crosswalk. Then, the vehicle fled the scene after the crash.
Responders rushed the boy to UC Davis Medical Center in unknown condition.
Meanwhile, the incident remained under investigation.
