Horrific 4-Vehicle Crash on Sayles Boulevard Led to Multiple Injuries [Abilene, TX]

At Least 5 People Hurt in Suspected DUI Crash on S 1st Street

Abilene, TX (November 04, 2023) On Friday afternoon, at lest 5 people were hurt in a 4-vehicle crash on Sayles Boulevard.

According to the Abilene Police Department, the suspected DUI crash happened around p.m. near the intersection of S 1st Street and Sayles Boulevard.

Reports say that a suspected drunk driver rear-ended a vehicle causing a chain reaction crash. Officials say that 3 vehicles were stalled after the collision, a 4th vehicle was able to go to nearby parking lot.

Authorities say that at least 5 people, including the suspect driver, were hurt and hospitalized due to the crash.

Police are investigating the suspected DUI crash and have not released additional information at this time.
