4 Hurt in San Diego Multi-Vehicle Collision on 15 Freeway
SAN DIEGO, CA (December 27, 2019) – Four people sustained serious injuries in a multi-vehicle collision on 15 Freeway on December 19.
The five-vehicle collision occurred before 10:00 p.m. on southbound 15 Freeway, south of Miramar Way.
Medical responders transported two people to Sharp Memorial Hospital. The other two went to Scripps Mercy Hospital with serious injuries. Their identity and other details of the victims are still unavailable as of this time.
The incident left wrecked vehicles and debris scattered on the freeway lanes, leading authorities to close all southbound lanes from 10:10 p.m. to 10:35 p.m.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the collision.
