4 People Transported in Motorcycle Collision on Spur 408 [Dallas, TX]

Dallas, TX (October 10, 2024) –  Four people sustained injuries following a motorcycle collision on Spur 408.

It was about 1:40 p.m. when the collision involving several cars and one of the funeral procession motorcycle escorts happened in the 3800 block area near UME Preparatory Academy Dallas.

Dallas PD said a funeral procession was taking place when one of the funeral procession motorcycle escorts was struck by a car. 

Immediately, the rescuers responded to the scene and transported the patients in stable condition.

Officers said it’s unclear if the motorcycle escort that was initially hit was one of the patients transported.

Similarly, there is no information on what department the motorcycle escort belonged to, but Dallas Police said none of their officers were injured in the collision.

Following the incident, two motorcycles and two cars sustained significant damage.

Dallas PD is conducting a further investigation into the motorcycle collision on Spur 408.
