4 Hospitalized in San Luis Obispo County Traffic Accident on State Route 46 and Center Street

 
SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, CA (April 11, 2021) – On Saturday, four people sustained injuries after a two-vehicle crash on State Route 46 and Center Street.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, a 42-year-old Paso Robles man drove a 2016 Dodge Ram Pickup. Then, he tried to turn left on SR-46 at the intersection of SR-46 East and Center Street.
 
Meanwhile, a 55-year-old driver of an eastbound 2020 Toyota Tacoma entered the intersection in the number 2 lane at approximately 65 mph.
 
Reports revealed that the driver of the Dodge claimed that he did not see the Tacoma as he enters the intersection.
 
Also, the Tacoma driver attempted to avoid the collision but failed.
 
Moreover, responders transported all four occupants of the Tacoma, including a four-year-old girl to Twin Cities Hospital with unknown injuries.
 
Furthermore, the Dodge Ram driver refused medical assistance, CHP said.
 
Authorities do not believe that alcohol, drugs, and cellphone usage played a role in the crash.
