4 Hospitalized in Fresno County Incident on Lincoln Avenue and Cornelia Avenue
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (January 18, 2021) – Monday afternoon, four people sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Lincoln Avenue and Cornelia Avenue.
According to California Highway Patrol, the incident involved a Maserati coupe and Mazda SUV. Then, it occurred in the area of Lincoln and Cornelia avenues at around 4:19 p.m.
Reports revealed that the Mazda failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with the side of the Maserati. Moreover, the force of the crash pushed the Maserati into an unoccupied building in the area.
Afterward, responders transported the sole occupant of the Mazda, a 45-year-old woman, and the 50-year-old male driver of the Maserati and its two passengers. They were all taken to a local hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
Meanwhile, authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
Furthermore, the incident is under active investigation.
