4 Hurt in Phoenix Multi-Vehicle Accident near 40th Street and McDowell Road
PHOENIX, AZ (May 4, 2021) – Monday night, four people suffered injuries in a three-vehicle crash near 40th Street and McDowell Road.
According to reports, the car accident involving multiple vehicles and a city bus happened near 40th Street and McDowell Road.
As a result of the Phoenix crash, responders transported a 3-week-old infant, a 19-year-old woman, a 22-year-old man, and a 26-year-old woman to the hospital.
All of them were listed in critical condition, the Department revealed.
Meanwhile, Phoenix Police Department spokesperson Sgt. Maggie Cox said that the driver and occupants’ injuries were non-life-threatening. Furthermore, the infant also sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
“The collision was caused by one of the vehicles failing to yield while turning left,” she added.
