4 Hurt in Turlock Car Crash on Highway 99
TURLOCK, CA (December 10, 2019) – Four people sustained injuries in a rollover crash on Highway 99 on December 8.
Reports revealed that a Cadillac Escalade driver heading south on Highway 99 north of West Main Street in Turlock. The SUV carried three passengers, including a 1-year-old and a 2-year-old, when the collision occurred about 7:30 p.m.
The SUV driver lost control and went down an embankment, before rolling over multiple times before landing on its wheels.
The crash threw off the 1-year-old from the SUV but stayed in his carrier. When officers arrived, they located the infant on the shoulder, “still strapped to his carrier.” Meanwhile, the reports stated that the three other people in the SUV all wore their seat belts.
It’s still unknown why the vehicle overturned. The authorities revealed that the road was dry during the incident. Responders took all the injured to a hospital.
