Injuries Reported in Pasadena Auto Accident on Fair Oaks Avenue and Colorado Boulevard

PASADENA, CA (October 9, 2024) – Saturday morning, 4 people suffered injuries in an alarming traffic crash on Fair Oaks Avenue and Colorado Boulevard.

The incident involving two vehicles happened at 6:45 a.m. at the intersection of Fair Oaks Avenue and Colorado Boulevard, according to Lisa Derderian, spokesperson for the Pasadena Fire Department.

Reports revealed that two occupants of one vehicle needed to be extricated. Pasadena police handled traffic control at the busy Old Pasadena intersection during the nearly hour-long operation.

According to Derderian, three individuals were taken to local hospitals with minor injuries, while one person was evaluated and released at the scene. The Pasadena Humane Society was also called to care for a small, unharmed dog, Derderian noted.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
