Injuries Reported in San Diego Auto Accident on Jamacha Boulevard near Kempton Street
SAN DIEGO, CA (June 8, 2021) – Monday morning, four people sustained injuries in a head-on crash on Jamacha Boulevard near Kempton Street.
According to CHP Officer Travis Garrow, the incident happened at around 9:50 a.m. Moreover, it occurred on Jamacha Boulevard near Kempton Street.
Reports revealed that an eastbound Nissan Altima veered over the solid double yellow lane. Then, it collided head-on with a westbound Saturn SUV.
The impact pushed the Saturn to crash into a parked BMW in the area.
Furthermore, responders transported the 46-year-old man driving the Saturn and its 37-year-old male passenger to a hospital with moderate injuries.
Also, paramedics rushed the 29-year-old woman driving the Nissan to a hospital with major injuries. Moreover, they took its 5-year-old passenger with moderate injuries to Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego.
Moreover, firefighters worked to extricate one person from a vehicle.
Meanwhile, authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
All lanes have long since reopened.
