WHITTIER, CA (April 18, 2021) – Wednesday morning, four people suffered injuries in a fiery crash on 605 Freeway near Beverly Boulevard.
 
The single-vehicle collision occurred just before 1:00 a.m. on the 605 Freeway near Beverly Boulevard.
 
Upon the CHP units’ arrival, they found a vehicle that had fallen an embankment and collided with a tree.
 
The vehicle had four occupants inside. One of the passengers has been trapped. Thus, the CHP officers immediately used fire extinguishers as the vehicle caught fire.
 
Eventually, the LACo Fire Units freed a pregnant victim from the SUV’s passenger side.
 
Then, responders transported all of them to County USC for treatment of injuries.
 
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continue to investigate the crash.
