HUMBOLDT COUNTY, CA (May 4, 2021) – Monday night, four people sustained injuries in a head-on crash on Highway 101 near Redcrest offramp.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 9:05 p.m. Moreover, it occurred southbound on Highway 101 near the Redcrest offramp.
 
Reports revealed that a silver Toyota 4-Runner and a white Dodge pickup collided on Highway 101.
 
Thus, responders had to extricate a person trapped inside a vehicle.
 
Moreover, paramedics said that the trapped individual complained of back and neck pain. Meanwhile, three more persons with minor injuries refused to be transported to a hospital.
 
Also, the Humboldt crash blocked both southbound lanes of the highway, but has long since reopened.
