Reckless Driving Caused Brutal 2-Vehicle Crash on 119th Avenue

Vancouver, WA (January 25, 2024) On Wednesday morning, 4 people were hurt and 3 were hospitalized after the 28th Street SUV-bus collision.

According to the Vancouver Police Department, the 2-vehicle crash happened at about 9:10 a.m. at the intersection of 28th Street and 119th Avenue.

Reports say that a southbound school bus was struck by an SUV that failed to stop at a stop light.

Officials say that 4 people sustained minor injuries, however, 3 of the 4 patients were taken to the hospital. Police say that a child suffered facial injuries, but officials did not confirm if the child was from the SUV or the school bus.

Authorities say that children on the school bus were accounted for and checked for injuries.

Police are investigating the 2-vehicle crash and have not released further information at this time.
