4 Injured in Merced Multi-Vehicle Collision on R Street and Loughborough Drive

 
MERCED, CA (March 11, 2019) – Four people were hospitalized following a four-vehicle collision at the intersection of R Street and Loughborough Drive Saturday morning.
 
Officials said the collision occurred in front of a Target store at around 11:57 a.m.
 
According to Merced Police Sgt. Chris Russell, the rear car struck the vehicles stopped at the intersection. There were four cars involved, and four people were transported to the hospital in unknown conditions.
 
Authorities are still determining the cause of the collision.
