1 Seriously Injured in Auto Collision on White Lilac Road in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (May 5, 2020) – Early Monday morning, a car accident on White Lilac Road led to the hospitalization of four people.
The California Highway Patrol revealed that an 18-year-old male driver of a silver Toyota Corolla has veered off the 4200 block of White Lilac Road. Then, the vehicle struck a tree just before 3:00 a.m.
The impact left the young passenger with serious injuries. According to CHP public-affairs Officer Mark Latulippe, when paramedics arrived, they transported the driver to Palomar Medical Center to receive treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, the three other passengers of the vehicle, women with ages 30, 33, and 49, were taken to the same hospital after all of them complain of suffering from pain.
Latulippe also added that the 34-year-old driver of the vehicle was uninjured in the crash. At this time, the authorities have not determined why the female driver lost control of the vehicle.
