Truckee, CA (July 26, 2021) – Monday afternoon, four people died in a jet crash near the Ponderosa Golf Course.
The fatal jet crash in Truckee happened on July 26.
According to the FAA, a Bombardier CL 600 jet, crashed into a heavily wooded area near the Ponderosa Golf Course when the pilot was trying to land at the Truckee Tahoe Airport.
Reportedly, two flight crew members and two passengers died.
The Nevada County coroner said on Monday briefing that there were no survivors.
The FAA said it will release the aircraft tail number after investigators verify it at the scene.
It is still not yet known where the jet was flying from.
