SODA SPRINGS, CA (November 22, 2021) – Early Saturday, four people died in a wrong-way crash on Interstate 80 near Eagle Lakes Road.
 
The incident happened just before 4:45 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 80 near Eagle Lakes Road. Moreover, it happened near Yuba Pass and Crystal Lake.
 
According to reports, a Jeep traveled the wrong way and a crash involving two other vehicles.
 
As a result of the crash, two adults and two children succumbed to their injuries. Officers clarified that they’re not the occupants of the Jeep.
 
After seven hours, eastbound Interstate 80 has reopened.
