4 Hurt in Riverside Auto Accident on Arlington Avenue
RIVERSIDE, CA (April 28, 2020) – Late Sunday evening, four victims were injured after a vehicle crashed into a supermarket sign on Arlington Avenue.
Riverside Fire Department Battalion Chief Tony Perna revealed that they received reports of the incident at 10:41 p.m., in the 6100 block of Arlington Avenue.
Firefighters immediately located the vehicle mangled by a Stater Bros. sign, along with four people who were stuck inside the wreckage.
According to witness reports, a person was scene fleeing the scene following the impact.
“The patients were extricated using the jaws of life,” Perna added. “The driver of the vehicle was in critical condition and the other three were in moderate condition.”
Perna also confirmed that the collision damaged both the Stater Bros. sign and a nearby light standard.
