Injuries Reported in Temple Auto Accident on 9300 Highway 317
TEMPLE, TX (October 2, 2024) – Monday, 4 people suffered injuries in a startling chase crash on 9300 Highway 317.
Meanwhile, the Temple Police Department’s investigation shows that an assault took place in the 9300 block of Highway 317. The victim fled in a vehicle but was pursued by the suspect heading south on Highway 317.
Reports said that the suspect forced the victim’s car into oncoming traffic, causing a T-bone collision in the 7500 block of the highway, involving three vehicles.
Four people were transported to the hospital, with three in stable condition and one in critical condition. No arrests have been made, and one suspect fled the scene. The crash, which occurred around 8:16 p.m. on Monday, led to a road closure as police investigated. Both vehicles in the collision were linked to the original assault.
Authorities ask anyone with information to contact the Temple Police Department or Bell County Crime Stoppers, where tips can be given anonymously.
