Fleeing Vehicle Crash on Westwood Plaza and Strathmore Place in Los Angeles
Los Angeles, CA (July 7, 2022) – On Thursday, four people sustained injuries in a crash on Westwood Plaza and Strathmore Place.
Reportedly, UCLA police were in pursuit of a car that led them to the middle of UCLA’s campus at the intersection of Westwood Plaza and Strathmore Place before it crashed into an anti-vehicle barrier.
The pursuit started on Le Conte and Tiverton Avenues after authorities broke up a nearby street takeover.
As a result, police arrested the 22-year-old driver for reckless driving and evading police. Moreover, his three passengers were taken to a hospital and are not affiliated with UCLA.
