CHP Investigates a Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 15 in Victorville

Victorville, CA (September 9, 2021) – Wednesday afternoon, four people sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 15.

The crash on the 15 freeway happened at about 12:30 p.m. on September 8, on the southbound I-15 between Stoddard Wells Road and Bell Mountain.

According to the CHP incident logs, a white sedan with a blown-out tire was traveling slowly on the freeway when a semi stuck it. However, the semi continued and struck a white pickup truck hauling a fifth-wheel trailer, pushing them onto a dirt shoulder off the freeway.

Victorville City Fire counted four patients and requested four ambulances to respond to the scene. 

Moreover, officers also requested a medical helicopter to land at Victor Valley Global Medical Center and airlifted one of the critically injured patients to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
