Victorville Multi-Vehicle Crash Injures 4 People Including 2 Children
VICTORVILLE, CA (June 24, 2019) — Four people suffered injuries in a multi-vehicle crash at Amargosa Road and Mojave Drive Friday morning.
Officials said the crash happened at about 11:00 a.m. When the Victorville City Fire crew arrived at the scene, they found three vehicles that were blocking the roadway. These are a white Honda Accord, a white Nissan Frontier, and a gold Chevy minivan.
According to the driver of the Nissan, he was at a red light and waiting to make a left-hand turn onto Mojave Drive. He said the Honda was southbound on Amargosa Road when the eastbound minivan on Mojave Drive hit the Honda’s passenger side.
Inside the Honda were two small children and their mother. Firefighters took the three of them to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
A ground ambulance took the woman driving the minivan to Victor Valley Global Medical Center. She was subsequently airlifted to an out-of-area trauma center with unknown injuries.
Two male occupants in the pickup truck were uninjured.
