4 People Hurt in Fresno Multi-Vehicle Accident
FRESNO, CA (January 20, 2020) – Four people sustained injuries, including three paramedics and one patient, after a multi-vehicle accident on Herndon Avenue.
According to reports, an ambulance crashed with two cars on January 16 just before 10:00 p.m. near Herndon Avenue and Maple Avenue intersection.
The police revealed that an American Ambulance vehicle traveled west on Herndon. However, another car headed east on Herndon, and a third vehicle turned onto Maple when all three vehicles crashed.
The ambulance rolled over and landed on its side. In addition, the collision sent the vehicle onto the sidewalk and knocked down a traffic light.
Responders took three paramedics to Community Regional Medical Center with injuries. As a result, their patient got transported to Kaiser Permanente.
A driver in the other vehicle suffered from back pain but didn’t require hospitalization.
