Injuries Reported in Cajon Pass Accident on Interstate 15 near Kenwood Avenue

CAJON PASS, CA (January 13, 2022) – Wednesday afternoon, four people sustained injuries in a fiery crash on Interstate 15 near Kenwood Avenue.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 12:15 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on Interstate 15 near Kenwood Avenue.

Reports revealed that a dark-colored Subaru SUV traveling at 85 mph rear-ended a semi and erupted into flames.

Moreover, firefighters rushed to the scene and put out the vehicle fire. Paramedics transported one patient to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with critical injuries. Responders transported two more victims to a hospital while another person refused further treatment. Then, the semi-driver sustained no injuries in the crash.

Furthermore, CHP blocked the number 4 lane of the interstate to give way to the investigation.

Meanwhile, the incident is under investigation.
