4 Hospitalized after Bellingham Multi-Vehicle Crash
BELLINGHAM, WA (March 23, 2020) – Four people sustained serious injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on Everson Goshen Road on March 20.
Heather Axtman of the State Patrol revealed that the deputies, state troopers, and medics all arrived on the crash scene after being dispatched.
The incident happened north of Bellingham at Everson Goshen Road and Central Road at about 2:00 p.m.
According to reports, the authorities located three wrecked cars: a small passenger car, a box truck, and a dump truck with a load of gravel.
The passenger car was occupied by two men who were both injured.
Meanwhile, the dump truck and box truck drivers also suffered significant injuries. Responders too all of the injured to the hospital.
The Investigation
The preliminary investigation revealed that the driver of the westbound passenger car failed to yield at a stop sign on Central Road.
The small car then crashed into the dump truck and then eventually hit the box truck, Axtman added.
The authorities are still investigating the collision.
