4 Hurt in Piru Car Accident
PIRU, CA (March 5, 2019) – Four people sustained injuries in a car collision that temporarily shut down Highway 126 on March 2.
Reports of the incident occurred about 2:00 p.m. on East Telegraph Road. In addition, it is also known as Highway 126 and is just east of Center Street.
CHP said that the collision involved two vehicles. The authorities located a black sports utility in a ditch while the white sedan was on the roadway.
Meanwhile, the paramedics revealed that a person needed immediate medical attention. They extricated the person from the wreck at 2:26 p.m. Furthermore, three other victims sustained unknown injuries.
The authorities dispatched an emergency helicopter to take one of the victims to Ventura County Medical Center.
As a result of the collision, Highway 126 was closed. It was reopened by 3:10 p.m.
