4 Injured in Redondo Beach Multi-Vehicle Accident on Crenshaw Boulevard
REDONDO BEACH, CA (December 13, 2019) – Four people sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle accident on Crenshaw Boulevard on December 11.
The incident happened around 7:40 a.m. at Crenshaw Boulevard and 181st Street, Torrance police Sgt. Alexander Martinez revealed.
A silver 2007 Nissan Murano driver headed north on Crenshaw Boulevard approaching 181st Street and rear-ended a 2014 Lexus. After that, the Nissan then drove into opposing traffic and crashed with five more vehicles, Martinez added.
Responders took the two Torrance men, aged 37 and 19, to hospitals with major injuries. However, two other people sustained minor injuries.
The incident closed north and southbound lanes on Crenshaw Boulevard for around four and a half hours during the investigation.
