Major Crash Involving Ambulance at Odessa Intersection Leaves Four Injured
Odessa, TX (October 4, 2024) On Thursday, 4 people were hurt after a brutal traffic crash on East 2nd Street.
According to the Odessa Police Department, the traffic crash happened at the intersection of East 2nd Street and Dixie Boulevard.
Reports say that a green Ford Ranger, traveling south on Dixie, ran a red light and collided with an eastbound ambulance on 2nd St.
The impact pushed the ambulance into a white Ford F-250 before the ambulance crashed into an electrical pole.
Emergency responders transported the Ford Ranger driver and three occupants of the ambulance to a local hospital, where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities confirmed that no other individuals sustained injuries.
The driver of the Ford Ranger received a citation for running the red light.
