Injuries Reported in Desert Hot Springs Accident on 20th Avenue and Palm Drive
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA (October 11, 2021) – Early Sunday morning, four people suffered injuries in a DUI crash on 20th Avenue and Palm Drive.
The incident occurred at 2:31 a.m. on 20th Avenue and Palm Drive.
According to investigators, a 21-year-old male driver of a white Lexus traveled west on 20th Avenue. Then, it failed to yield at a stop sign and broadsided a southbound white Chevrolet on Palm Drive.
The police confirmed that a 36-year-old Thousand Palms woman and her two children rode the Chevrolet.
Meanwhile, the Lexus driver sustained major injuries in the crash and required hospitalization.
Also, responders took the Chevrolet driver and her children to a hospital after complaining of pain.
Furthermore, the authorities suspect that alcohol played a role in the crash. However, the authorities haven’t made any arrests as of Sunday afternoon.
