4 Injured in Escondido Multi-Vehicle Accident
ESCONDIDO, CA (October 1, 2019) – Four people required hospitalization after a multi-vehicle accident on North Center City Parkway.
The three-car accident involving an elderly couple, a pregnant woman carrying triplets and another individual on September 27. The incident occurred at about 11:15 a.m. near the intersection of North Center City Parkway and Country Club Lane in Escondido.
Battalion chief for Escondido Fire Department Mike Bertrand said that the pregnant woman did not suffer serious injuries. However, responders still took her to a hospital for further evaluation.
The victims’ age ranges from the mid-30s to 80 years old. Responders transported a total of four people to a hospital. However, the fourth person’s condition is still unknown. In addition, authorities noted that the victims only suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Crews with the Escondido Fire Department came to the scene to free the victims from their cars.
Firefighters fried the elderly couple from a silver Kia that had flipped on its side. Their condition is still unknown as of this time.
