Four Injured after Lancaster Car Accident on Avenue H
LANCASTER, CA (August 15, 2019) – Four people and a dog died in a car crash on Avenue H in Lancaster on Wednesday, August 14.
The car accident occurred shortly after noon in the area of Avenue H and 30th Street West.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, a vehicle that traveled westbound ran the red light at the intersection. After that, it slammed into another car moving in the northbound direction.
The impact caused all three people in the northbound to be ejected. Two of them died at the scene and the third died at a hospital.
The driver who ran the red light also succumbed to injuries at the hospital.
The force of the incident caused one of the vehicles to be a mangled wreck. There were debris and personal belongings scattered all over the roadway.
A dog died at the crashed and another dog was transported to a medical facility.
