1 Dead in Clairemont Auto Accident on State Route 52 and Regents Road

CLAIREMONT, CA (October 4, 2022) – Monday morning, a 39-year-old driver died in a crash on State Route 52 and Regents Road.

The accident happened at around 8:30 a.m. on State Route 52 and Regents Road.

According to reports, a 45-year-old man lost control of his Toyota Camry as he exited eastbound State Route 52. Then, the car went across the city street, crossed over a road divider, and crashed with a Hyundai Elantra on an onramp.

As a result, the 39-year-old driver of the Elantra succumbed to injuries at the scene. Her identity remained undisclosed due to pending family notification.

Furthermore, paramedics transported the motorist to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla for treatment of serious but non-life threatening injuries.
