Fresno, CA (January 21, 2021) – On Wednesday, a 38-year-old man lost his life in a deadly pedestrian accident on 18th Avenue.
 
The deadly crash took place at around 9:30 in Kings County.
 
Apparently, the pedestrian was wearing dark clothes as he walked in the roadway south of Lemoore.
 
Raquel Cardenas and her passenger 49, of Exeter and her passenger, Martin Corona, 46, of Farmersville road in a Ford Fusion south on 18th Avenue.
 
Shortly after, they struck and killed a male pedestrian they were not able to avoid hitting in time.
 
Responders rushed him to the hospital, where he later died.
 
Meanwhile, authorities withheld his identity.
 
Officers said the driver road at 50 MPH at the time of the accident, and stayed at the scene to cooperate with the investigation.
