35-Year-Old Male Scooter Rider Dies in Pershing Drive Crash [Balboa Park, CA]

Man Killed in Pershing Drive Crash

Balboa Park, CA (September 20, 2021) – On Saturday, a 35-year-old scooter rider lost his life in a Pershing Drive crash.

The accident took place at about 10:55 p.m. in the 2800 block area.

Investigating officers said a 2012 Mazda 3 was northeast when it struck the scooter in the bike lane.

Officers pronounced the victim dead at the scene. 

Meanwhile, the reports did not say if the officers arrested the 17-year-old girl driving the involved car.
