33-Year-Old Woman Dies in Valentine Avenue Hit-and-Run Crash [Fresno, CA]

Fresno, CA (February 24, 2022) – On Wednesday, a 33-year-old female pedestrian sustained fatal injuries in a Valentine Avenue hit-and-run crash.

It happened minutes after 10:30 p.m. near Floradora Avenue.

Investigators say the suspect driver struck the woman while walking in the street and then drove off.

Unfortunately, the unidentified victim lost her life in the collision.

Meanwhile, officers believe the involved vehicle was a dark-colored GMC Sierra pickup truck between the years 1999 to 2007. They say it has tinted headlight lenses and may have damage to the vehicle. Also, witnesses said the vehicle might be lifted.
