Passenger Injured in Fatal Crash on State Route 395
Franklin County, WA (February 08, 2022) – On Sunday, a 33-year-old Connell man died in a rollover crash on State Route 395.
Officers responded to the crash scene at about 2:24 a.m. roughly 11 miles north of Pasco city limits.
The northbound car on the freeway left the roadway around mile marker 36.
The paramedics rushed the Connell man to Kadlec Regional Medical Center, where he later died due to his injuries.
Similarly, the paramedics also rushed the 24-year old passenger from West Richland to Trios hospital with unknown injuries.
Investigators said the vehicle driver was not wearing their seat belt during the accident, but the passenger did have their seat belt on.
Moreover, officers are still investigating the cause of the Franklin County crash. It is unknown if drugs or alcohol were a factor in this accident.
