Fatal Motorcycle Accident on Walerga Road in Roseville
ROSEVILLE, CA (October 12, 2019) – A 32-year-old Sacramento man died in a motorcycle crash Friday in Roseville, according to authorities.
The crash occurred Friday evening. However, police did not discover the victim until Saturday morning around 7:25 a.m. on Walerga Road south of Springdale Drive.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a man rode a 2013 Harley-Davidson Fatboy motorcycle and failed to negotiate a curve on a busy road. He ejected from his bike and landed into an open field.
As a result, the man died at the scene. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Authorities believe unsafe speed may have played a role in the crash. A toxicology report will determine if alcohol or drugs also caused the victim to crash.
Traffic was not impacted during the investigation.
We hope the family and friends of the victim are surrounded by steadfast and comforting support as they grieve for the loss of their loved one.
