32-Year-Old Driver Killed in Solo Crash on Fletcher Parkway [La Mesa, CA]

1 Dead and 1 Injured in La Mesa Auto Accident on Fletcher Parkway

 
LA MESA, CA (February 8, 2022) – Monday morning, a 32-year-old driver died in a solo crash on Fletcher Parkway near Grossmont High School.
 
The incident happened just before 2:00 a.m. when a 32-year-old driver of an eastbound 2018 Hyundai Genesis lost control. Moreover, the crash happened in the 9000 block of Fletcher Parkway in La Mesa.
 
Then, the car went off the street and struck a tree, throwing off the driver. As a result, the man succumbed to his injuries at the scene. At this time, the authorities haven’t disclosed his identity due to pending family notification.
 
Meanwhile, responders took a 29-year-old male passenger to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
Also, the incident led to the closure of the roadway between Amaya and Southern drives for several hours.
