SAN LEANDRO, CA (December 15, 2022) – Early Sunday morning, a 31-year-old woman died in a wrong-way crash on Davis Street and Interstate 880.
 
The incident occurred when a driver in an unknown vehicle allegedly drove the wrong way. Then, the vehicle crashed into a car on the on-ramp of Davis Street and Interstate 880. Officers confirmed that the second vehicle was an Uber carrying a passenger.
 
Meanwhile, reports said that the victim was on her way to work when the crash occurred.
 
Also, the wrong-way driver escaped the crash scene.
 
Moreover, the Uber driver sustained injuries to their hand, but at this time the severity is unknown.
 
Furthermore, the passenger died at the crash scene.
