Driver Wanted in Hit-and-Run Crash Near Ephrata Airport
Ephrata, WA (September 12, 2023) – On Friday, a 30-year-old female pedestrian was injured in a Highway 282 collision.
The traffic accident happened between 2 and 3 a.m. near Ephrata Airport.
Officers said the woman was walking on the east shoulder of the freeway south of the airport when an vehicle struck her from behind.
According to WSP Detective Ben Borgman, the male driver stopped briefly but continued driving on eastbound toward Moses Lake.
The woman sustained serious injuries.
Moreover, the authorities said the involved vehicles is as a passenger car that may have right front-end damage.
