According to the San Bernardino County Fire, the multi-vehicle head-on crash happened around 4:38 a.m. near Bandicoot Trail.

Reports say that the collision involved a Honda sedan, a white work van, and a white Toyota pickup truck.

Officials say that a person was taken to Hesperia Airport via ambulance, then Mercy Air transported the patient to the hospital.

Authorities closed Summit Valley Road in both directions for roughly two hours, causing sever traffic delays.

The investigation is being handled by the Hesperia Police Department.
