1 Person Hospitalized After 3-Vehicle Crash on Highway 120 in Moccasin

Moccasin, CA (May 10, 2024) – On Friday, one person sustained severe injuries in a 3-vehicle crash on Highway 120.

First responders are working a three-vehicle collision on Highway 120 in the Moccasin area of Tuolumne County, where one person is pinned inside a vehicle.

The crash happened around 11:30 a.m. at the Highway 49 intersection, involving a Subaru, a Kenworth semi, and a Toyota Tundra pickup.

The CHP reports that two of the vehicles hit head-on, and one person is pinned inside their vehicle.

The highway is completely blocked, and officers are directing traffic. The CHP asks motorists to avoid the area if possible. 

An ambulance has been called to the scene, as one person is reported to have major injuries.
