San Antonio, TX (October 13, 2023) On Thursday morning, a person was hospitalized after a 3-vehicle collision on Interstate 10.

According to San Antonio police, the disastrous crash happened around 2:30 a.m. on I-10 near UTSA Boulevard.

Reports say that the collision involved a Toyota Camry, an 18-wheeler and a 3rd vehicle following the Toyota.

Officials say that the Toyota was traveling from the access road of I-10 West, then crossed main lanes of the highway where it collided with the big rig.

Authorities say that 3rd vehicle collided with the toyota after the inital crash, the driver of the 3rd vehicle was rushed to a hospital.

Meanwhile, the Toyota driver fled on foot, and is still at large.

Additionally, the San Antonio Police Department, the San Antonio Fire Department and EMS all responded to the call.

Police are investigating the hit-and-run crash.
