3 Transported in 2-Vehicle Crash on Ramon Road [Thousand Palms, CA]

Thousand Palms, CA (March 24, 2024) – Three people suffered from injuries following a 2-vehicle crash on Ramon Road Saturday afternoon.

It was approximately 5 p.m. when a Kia Optima and a pickup truck were traveling in opposite directions. Suddenly, the Optima driver made a U-turn in front of the pickup truck, and the two vehicles collided.

Immediately, the Kia driver was transported with major injuries.

Two passengers were also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Officers are investigating the cause of the traffic accident.
