3 Teens Arrested in Car Crash on International Boulevard near Interstate 5 [SeaTac, WA]

Injuries Reported in SeaTac Auto Accident on International Boulevard near Interstate 5

 
SEATAC, WA (February 13, 2023) – Sunday morning, authorities arrested three teens following a car crash on International Boulevard near Interstate 5.
 
The incident happened at around 1:00 a.m. at the Doubletree Hotel in the 18700 block of International Boulevard.
 
According to the King County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle refused to pull over for a traffic stop. Then, it went through an apartment complex where a passenger of the vehicle jumped out and was later detained.
 
Then, the vehicle continued to flee and collided with multiple vehicles, including a King County Sheriff’s patrol vehicle. The vehicle made its way onto the southbound lanes of Interstate 5. Then, it lost control and crashed near 272nd Street and Interstate 5.
 
Moreover, responders transported the 15-year-old male driver of the vehicle for treatment. Then, authorities arrested and booked the driver for first-degree assault, eluding, and possession of a stolen vehicle.
 
Also, the 15-year-old female passenger and the 15-year-old male passenger who jumped out of the vehicle were later released by the authorities.
 
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
 
Meanwhile, the incident remained under active investigation.
