Fatalities Reported in Yucaipa Crash on Avenue E and 8th Street

 
YUCAIPA, CA (January 24, 2021) – Friday night, three people died in an accident on Avenue E and 8th Street.
 
At around 10:35 p.m., a dark gray Volkswagen sedan headed east on Avenue E, east of 8th Street. As the vehicle traveled in a residential area, the vehicle went off the road, crashed into a guardrail and tree.
 
Afterward, it stopped in a home’s front yard, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department revealed.
 
The medical responders pronounced three people in the Volkswagen deceased at the crash scene. Meanwhile, responders transported a fourth person with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
At this time, the authorities are withholding the identity of the deceased due to pending family notification.
 
Also, the authorities haven’t clarified why the vehicle went off the road. Moreover, the authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
